1. The influence of melting point of zirconia ceramic substrate in life

Although the thermal conductivity of zirconia ceramics is low, it has high hardness, good wear resistance, high toughness and high temperature resistance, and its melting point is as high as 2700 degrees Celsius, which is one of the best fire-resistant materials in nature. Therefore, it can be perfect for some mobile facilities with frequent vibration and ultra-high temperature working environment. 2, zirconia ceramic substrate semiconductor application

Because the semiconductor power module is used in vehicles and other mobile facilities with frequent vibration, the ceramic substrate with insufficient mechanical properties is prone to fracture, which reduces the reliability of the semiconductor power module during use. In the actual production process, 240K-500K thermal cycle experiment is usually used to test the thermal shock resistance of the sample. Ordinary Al2O3 and AlN usually have cracks after 50 thermal cycles, and the copper circuit will fall off after 500 thermal cycles. It is not able to meet the requirements of electric vehicles to maintain performance after 3000 thermal cycles. The zirconia ceramic substrate can meet these mechanical properties, but can only be applied to low-power modules because of its thermal conductivity.

3. What are the requirements for ceramic plates in the field of aerospace

In aerospace generator applications, it is the only one. Because increasing the turbine front temperature of the engine is the key, for example, when the thruster to weight ratio is 10, the turbine front temperature of the primary engine is more than 1500 ° C, and the current maximum use temperature of superalloys and metallides is less than 1200 ° C, so zirconia ceramics can meet the requirements, and the circuit board made of it has a useful place.
