The sensor has a volume of 1 square millimeter and is cheap enough to be widely available on the market. It's also the first blow to Apple's new MEMS sensors for smartphones.

The reason for this is related to the ceramic substrate, we all know that MEMS is the meaning of micro-electromechanical system, compared with traditional sensors, it has small size, light weight, low cost, low power consumption, high reliability, suitable for mass production, easy integration and intelligent characteristics. The application of gas sensors is mainly at the industrial level, with the promotion of MEMS, civilian gas sensors have begun to develop rapidly, but they are still not to be underestimated in industry. In industrial manufacturing, gas sensors often have to face a variety of different harsh environments, such as: high temperature, corrosion, low temperature and a series of external environment will have a very large impact on the sensor. The application of ceramic substrate can perfectly solve this problem. Because the ceramic substrate is an inorganic material, the resistance to acid and alkali corrosion is very high, and it can resist the corrosion of strong acid and alkali gases. For high temperature and low temperature, the maximum can be guaranteed to operate at 1300high temperature, and the sensor working environment will not be so high.

Industrial sensor applications have gradually begun to turn to civilian, civilian sensors will be a very large market, which involves smart home, smart city, driverless and so on a series of new era products, ceramic substrate will also become the darling of the new era.
