Automated factories have now blossomed all over the country's cities, China has been a global manufacturing power, with the addition of intelligent automated factories, the quality of products is more guaranteed. In it, there are many control components, and these control components are the key to its operation. So what are the components and how can the ceramic substrate play a role? Here are two key components.
The first is the automated factory brain - the controller. It refers to the instruction device that changes the wiring of the main circuit or control circuit and changes the resistance value in the circuit to control the start, speed regulation, braking and reverse of the motor in accordance with the predetermined order. The controllers commonly used in automation factories are plc, industrial computer and so on. Because it is the control center, the chip inside has very high requirements for microcircuits, and to achieve accurate control of the motor, the conversion requirements for the current frequency are also high, resulting in a large amount of heat generated. At this time, aluminum nitride ceramic base can be used, and the ultra-high thermal conductivity allows the controller to operate in a "no heat" state, improving the reaction time of the control. And the ceramic material is smaller than the traditional circuit substrate dielectric constant, in the circuit high-frequency conversion process, the loss is also small, so the control time can be improved by about 0.05 seconds.
The second is Robot. It is a machine that performs work automatically, can be directed by humans, can run pre-programmed programs, and can act according to principles formulated by artificial intelligence technology. Its task is to assist or replace human repetitive or dangerous work. Robots are generally composed of actuators, driving devices, detection devices, control systems and complex machinery. And its actuator and drive mechanism will use alumina ceramic substrate. Because the robot is mainly an executive control mechanism, the heat dissipation requirements are not high, such as robots, chemical agents and so on. However, in a high temperature or corrosive environment, it will be transferred from the surface of the machine or penetrate into the inside, then the alumina substrate can withstand more than 1000 degrees of high temperature, but also resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, which is unmatched by the traditional circuit board.
